KOROWAI

In the Indonesian province of Papua, in the heart of an immense and pristine forest, live the very isolated Korowai people.

They live in houses they construct a top huge trees, using expertise transmitted from father to son.

French architect philosopher Philippe Simay meets Marcus. With him, he discovers just how much the lives of the Korowai people depends on the forest in which they are immersed. A forest that both serves as a nourishing home and a refuge.
